CCC ThinkTank

The CCC ThinkTank promotes discussion of how capital is deployed to mitigate and adapt to climate change.

This discussion is important as public resources are insufficient to meet the challenge, while stewards of private capital primarily seek to generate a return for their immediate stakeholders.

We believe that trade and effective markets must play a key role in developing solutions and building resilience to climate change and that in this area profit and public good are compatible.

The CCC ThinkTank is a centre for thought leadership and research which supports and develops international and local policies that encourage efficient allocation of capital.

We believe that collaboration, building networks and sharing views are key to finding solutions to climate change.

"Reducing the impact of climate change is linked inexorably to land and water use, clean and secure energy and sustainable food production for all. How the world reaches these goals - and who pays for it - are the big questions which we attempt to answer"
