Jeremy is Chairman of the CCC Private Equity Fund. Since 1998 Mr Gough has been a senior partner of Graphite Capital, a leading player in UK mid-market buy-outs.

Prior to that, he was a founder director of Morgan Grenfell Development Capital for seven years.  Between 1986 and 1990 Mr Gough was a director of Close Investment Management, the private equity business of Close Brothers, which he joined having worked at 3i from 1981 to 1986.

His 30 years' experience of the private equity industry encompasses all aspects of private equity, including investment in start ups, growth capital and buy-outs, non-executive experience in both private and publicly quoted companies, investment committee roles, fund raising and investor relations.

Jeremy now works part time with Graphite Capital focusing on portfolio management.

He holds an MA in Classics from Oxford University and has completed the Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD. He has also recently attained a first class BA honours degree in politics, philosophy and history from the University of London.
