Steve Read

Steve Read is an Managing Director of the Ventus Funds. Steve’s primary responsibility is for the structuring and management of investments made by the Ventus, Ventus 2 and Ventus 3 VCT funds.

Steve has over 13 years experience in the corporate banking arena and prior to joining CCC was a Director with Barclays PFI & Structured Finance Team.

In 2001 Steve founded Barclays’ Environmental Services Team with specific responsibility for the financing of renewable energy projects.

In this most recent role he arranged and managed the financing of over 500MW of renewable energy projects across a range of generating technologies and legal jurisdictions.
