The CCC Equity Hedge Funds team are focused on emerging environmental sectors which are exhibiting long term high growth rates. The investment opportunity is driven by an unprecedented convergence of concerns over high energy prices and energy security, the effects of climate change and resource depletion combined with technology advances.

Investment opportunities are created by identifying strategic environmental drivers, and positioning the funds to exploit these market failures through disciplined and systematic stock selection and risk management. These emerging sectors exhibit a high degree of inefficiency and volatility.

The Hedge Funds team have a unique insight and information advantage from working with CCC's Advisory division which provides financial, strategic and policy advice spanning our key sectors. In addition to commercial clients the Advisory team work with Governments to develop policies in ways that will lead to the most efficient and effective deployment of capital to meet required objectives. This gives the distinctive competence of blending a level of policy insight generally not seen in the financial sector with a level of financial insight not seen in the policy arena.

The Funds will be managed by a highly successful investment team with over 30 years of combined investment experience and over 8 years of environmental long short experience, the later gained whilst working in the same team at Morley Fund Management, winning numerous awards for funds managed:
