(LONDON – 29 July 2009)

‘I am delighted to be taking over as CEO at an incredibly exciting time for Climate Change Capital. I am looking forward to leading CCC into a new chapter of the company’s history, building on Mark and the CCC’s team’s hard work and success during the last six years. Mark and I have established a good working relationship over nearly a year and I look forward to having his continued support in his new role with the company.’
Mark Woodall will continue to be involved with CCC in a non-executive capacity as a senior adviser to the company as well as becoming the non-executive chairman of the investment committees of the carbon funds.
Speaking about his new position with CCC and the appointment of Shaun Mays as CEO, Woodall said:
‘I have greatly enjoyed building the company to its current successful position. I believe that now the time is right for a new person to take up the baton and lead CCC on the next stage of its development. The business has had a strong six months of profitable trading and we are extremely well positioned for the future.’
‘Shaun and I will continue to work closely in my new capacity and I wish him every success for the future. Shaun has an enviable track-record in our industry and has all the skills needed for the next phase of CCC’s development.’
