(LONDON, 7 October 2010) Climate Change Capital Private Equity LP ("CPE"), a €200 million fund which invests in high growth, later stage European cleantech companies, has appointed an expert panel of energy and cleantech professionals to advise their investment team.
The advisory panel, which will convene today, includes: Peter Jones (OBE), former Biffa director; Lord Oxburgh, former non-executive chairman of Royal Dutch Shell PLC; Dr Gayle Jackson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Energy Global, Inc.; Thomas Seibold, Partner and Member of the Board of the BASE Group and Dr Anthony White (MBE), advisor to Climate Change Capital and founding member of the UK Government's Energy Advisory Panel.
The panel will act as a sounding board for CPE's investment team in respect of industry and sector trends and provide valuable input on specific opportunities both pre and post investment.
Simon Drury, a partner of CPE said: 'We are delighted to have formed such a prestigious group of leading industry experts representing a cross section of the fund's investment sectors. Their experience and insight of these markets will be invaluable to new investments, but also support the development of existing portfolio companies."
