Climate Change Capital’s CEO Shaun Mays Leaves

Climate Change Capital, the environmental investment manager and advisory group, announced today that Shaun Mays has relinquished his post as CEO and is being replaced in the interim by Mark Macleod, the chief financial officer. Mays' place on the CCC board will be taken by Ian Temperton, the head of advisory.

Mays, who has held the post for two years, said: "I have enjoyed my time at Climate Change Capital and believe passionately in their mission. But I have decided that now is the time to return to the United States where my family live and seek fresh challenges."

CCC chairman Vivienne Cox said: "We are grateful for the expertise, leadership and enthusiasm that Shaun brought to Climate Change Capital and wish him all the best. We are reassured that, in what are turbulent times in the financial markets, we have someone of the calibre of Mark Macleod to push the company forward, and in Ian Temperton the board gains a vastly experienced professional in the environmental field."
