China, India, and the New World Environmental Order: A Post-Copenhagen Perspective

Climate Change Capital and the Worldwatch Institute are hosting an exclusive evening reception at CCC's headquarters in London.

The emerging nations of Asia are quickly coming to dominate everything from global emissions of carbon dioxide to the global market for new energy technologies. Christopher Flavin, President of the Worldwatch Institute, will argue that this tectonic shift in geo-environmental politics contributed to the near breakdown of the Copenhagen climate talks in December, and will demand new and innovative thinking if the climate problem is to be effectively addressed.

James Cameron, Vice Chairman of Climate Change Capital will provide an introduction and chair the discussion.
