European Future Energy Summit 2011

Ben Caldecott, Head of European Policy, will be moderating a panel at this year's forum.

His panel subject will be: Carbon credits - a sustainable solution and will cover topics including the following:

  • Carbon credits have been very controversial and the trading opportunities did not seem to really develop
  • Are carbon credits sustainable?
  • What are the international trading opportunities?
  • How can we use financing for future energy projects?

More information on the panel guests to follow but the general theme for the forum this year will be 'Making Innovation Happen for a Sustainable World', with a conference programme that aims to generate inspiration and knowledge transfer across energy sectors and geographical regions whilst focusing on actually finding solutions to turn the big ideas into feasible results.
