Ecobuild 2011

On Thursday 3 March from 12.30 - 14.00 Alex Betts, a partner of CCC Private Equity, will take part in an 'Energy in Buildings' panel to discuss ways in which the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme can be financed.

The RHI will be introduced from 2011-12 to encourage households and businesses to invest in renewable space and water heating measures.

The government has earmarked £860 million to support the scheme, but to ensure the UK generates 12% of all heat from renewable sources by 2020, the RHI will require significant private investment and support from energy services companies.

The panel will be chaired by Kelly Butler, Marketing Director, BEAMA
