CPA International Parliamentary Conference on Climate Change

Kostas Nikopolous, Head of Middle East & North Africa, will be leading a discussion group on the mechanisms of the UNFCCC, focussing specifically on the Clean Development Mechanism.

The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association UK Branch's 3rd International Parliamentary Conference on Climate Change (IPCCC), will ask what parliamentarians can do to address climate change from this point onwards: what actions can they take now to mitigate climate change in the absence of a legally binding treaty?; how can they make sure communities are able to adapt to its effects?; how can they contribute to the success of negotiations at COP 16?
