China, India, and the New World Environmental Order: A Post-Copenhagen Perspective
Climate Change Capital and the Worldwatch Institute were proud to host an exclusive evening reception at CCC's headquarters in London.
The event covered the topic of how emerging nations of Asia are quickly coming to dominate everything from global emissions of carbon dioxide to the global market for new energy technologies.
The discussion was led by the President of the Worldwatch Institute, Christopher Flavin, who argued the point that this tectonic shift in geo-environmental politics contributed to the near breakdown of the Copenhagen climate talks in December, and will demand new and innovative thinking if the climate problem is to be effectively addressed.
Vice Chairman of Climate Change Capital, James Cameron
provided
an introduction and chaired the discussion.
