The banker trying to save the planet

Mark Woodall, CEO of Climate Change Capital, is serious both about climate change and developing the biggest green investment bank, writes Chirs Blackhurst (City Editor)

"Using other capital, CCC moved into asset management, setting up investment funds targeting carbon reduction. A Woodall word is 'opportunity': 'Too much of the climate change debate is concerned with risk not opportunity. (CCC exists) to capitalise on opportunity either by advising others or investing its own capital capital. It is a professional finance house that happens to specialise in climate change.' "
