Inconvenient truth can prove lucrative

"Climate Change Capital (CCC), a British investment bank, announced yesterday that it had launched the world's largest private sector carbon fund. Two large pension funds and Centrica, the energy group, have ploughed money in, helping to raise a total of $830 million in just three months. By the end of the year, the fund is expected to top $1 billion. The money will be used to invest in projects that reduce greenhouse gases, particularly the CO2 emissions deemed the prime cause of global warming."
