Green infra bonds ‘vital’

Europe's low carbon sector desperately needs a market for green infrastructure bonds to be created, according to a white paper published yesterday by Climate Change Capital's Think Tank.

With particular reference to the UK, the white paper claims that a vibrant market in bonds issued by the low carbon sector is vital to bridge the £370 million funding gap identified by Ernst & Young in October.
