EU repays carbon-friendly firms

Pension funds making low carbon investments could soon be rewarded financially following EU legislation to stregnthen the carbon trading market, writes Hannah Williams.

"Gareth Hughes, head of corporate development at Climate Change Capital, an investment banking group specialising in carbon financing, said while five of Europe's biggest pension schemes were investing in carbon funds, the UK was yet to show an interest."
