Energy monitor installed at Birmingham offices in climate change initiative
A European first on climate change is helping count the cost of energy use in a prime Birmingham city centre building every 30 minutes.
A TV monitor at 5 St Philip's Place is giving the building's 400 employees up to the minute information on water, gas and electricity usage in a ground-breaking green initiative.
The property owners and firm behind the initiative, Climate Change Capital, buys buildings with the aim of making them more energy-efficient, saving carbon and money.
