This has been a hard few weeks for the digestive systems of those in the energy sector, with seemingly endless breakfasts, lunches and dinners being consumed at the daily roundtables and meetings organised to debate the Government's Electricity Market Reform (EMR) consultation. As we enter the third month of the EMR consultation marathon, Ian Temperton, the head of Climate Change Capital's advisory practice, decided to give his constitution a rest for a few hours and reflect on the proposals and the debate so far.
