Climate Energy wins place in Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100

Climate Energy, one of CPE's portfolio companies has won a place in the latest Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100.

The Fast Track 100 league table ranks Britain's 100 private companies with the fastest-growing sales over their latest three years. The 100 companies increased sales by an average of 87% a year over the last three years to a total of £4bn. They more than tripled their workforce to 18,200 over the same period.

A typical Fast Track 100 company:

is owned and run by entrepreneurs
has between 50 and 250 staff
has average 3 year sales growth ranging between 50% and 400% pa
has sales ranging between £5m and £500m (typically £5m - £100m)
20% of the companies have venture capital backing
