Climate Change Capital raises USD 272m for private equity fund

Investment group Climate Change Capital has closed its private equity fund at EUR 200m (USD 272m), making it one of the largest such funds in Europe.

The CCC Private Equity Fund will target technology areas of clean energy, clean transport, energy efficiency, waste recovery and water. It will be focused primarily on opportunities in Europe, but around 20% has been earmarked for other geographies.
