Climate Change Capital named in Top 25 'Low Carbon Pioneers' list

Climate Change Capital has been ranked 21st of the world's 'Top 100 Low Carbon Pioneers'. According to CNBC, CCC is 'a defining pioneer in the sector' and ' achieves the highest position in this ranking for a medium-sized enterprise'. See excerpt below:

No. 21 Climate Change Capital, London
Mark Woodall, CEO

"Vice-Chairman and founder James Cameron helped broker the Kyoto agreement and is a legendary figure in this sector.  Around him is an investment banking group that has grown from zero to 130 employees in two years and achieves the highest position in this ranking for a medium-sized enterprise...  A major player in the carbon markets, CCC remains the defining pioneer in this sector because of its direct involvement in UN and inter-governmental policy formation."

The list which includes, Iberdrola, Wal-Mart, Marks & Spencer and HSBC, was compiled by CNBC business editorial team.  An external panel was appointed to nominate and review candidates. The final list was compiled on the basis of the degree to which the company had taken courageous or ground-breaking stance on climate change, or embraced a future, low carbon solution in the form of clean or renewable energy.
