CCC ranked second largest carbon-off taker in 2010 following BNEF correction
Climate Change Capital is now ranked second in Bloomberg New Energy Finance's 2010 carbon off-takers table, alongside EcoSecurities, following the correction of an error in BNEF's data.
The correction is to 'Table 11: Carbon Off-takers' on page 25 of
the report, which was originally published on 2 March. The table
identifies the most productive developer of projects yielding
tradable emission credits in 2010, based on BNEF's estimates for
risk-adjusted contracted CDM/JI credits, as measured in
MTCO2e.
Carbon Resource Management remains in first place with 11.1
MTCO2e, as shown in the original table. Second place is now shared
between Climate Change Capital and EcoSecurities, with 8.7 and 8.6
MTCO2e respectively, a statistical dead heat because the margin is
too close to call.
The corrected League Tables are available on Bloomberg New Energy Finance's website.
