Business in the Community Awards

Business in the community Climate Change Capital is pleased to announce they have been awarded The Man Group International Climate Change 'Big Tick' Award.

The Big Tick is awarded to companies able to demonstrate excellence in the way they organise and integrate their responsible business practices and who can show a positive impact both on society and on business.

The Man Group International Climate Change Award, in association with The Climate Group, is given to companies taking a strategic, comprehensive and innovative approach to climate change. Other companies to achieve the award include: British Sky Broadcasting; E.ON UK; Scottish Power; Harper Adams University College; Lafarge Cement; Serco Leisure; Tesco and Tullow Oil.

Climate Change Capital has been at the forefront of the carbon market, playing key roles in the design and implementation of the Kyoto mechanisms since their inception. With over €800 million under management, the Climate Change Capital Carbon Funds invest in emission reduction projects, primarily in emerging markets. Working closely with project developers, financial institutions and CDM and JI host governments, we use carbon finance as the catalyst for investment in clean energy and emission reductions.
