ABP and PGGM invest many millions in climate trade

The Dutch pension funds ABP and PGGM are going to make considerable investments in climate change. Both funds will, with investments of hundreds of millions of dollars, be the largest investors in Climate Change Capital's Carbon Fund II, a prominent specialist in the fast-growing trade in CO2 emissions credits. Spokespersons for both funds confirmed the investments yesterday evening, although ABP would not disclose the size [of the investment].
