The
Gansu-Qinghai Hydro Portfolio is a portfolio of seven small hydro
projects in the Chinese provinces of Gansu and Qinghai, totalling
109.5 MW, generating enough energy for approximately 220,000 homes.
Six of the projects have been registered and the remainder is
expected to be registered by July 2012. CCC entered into a carbon
development and offtake agreement which supported the finance of
the project.

The
projects involve the detection and repair of leaks in above ground
regulator gas stations in Uzbekistan and Georgia across a
geographic area about the same size as the United Kingdom,
conserving more than 225million m3 of gas per year and
providing income to more than 400 local staff. CCC was
the first company to register a project with this CDM methodology.
CCC entered into a carbon development and offtake agreement which
supported the finance of the project.
