Low Carbon Finance Funds

In 2006, CCC's Carbon Finance team raised the world's largest private sector carbon fund at €750 million.

Since 2005, the Carbon Finance team has managed over €850 million to invest in companies and projects that generate emission reduction credits, with the majority of transactions operating under the Kyoto Protocol's Clean Development Mechanism (CDM).

The team works with proven technology providers to develop carbon projects and build a substantial portfolio of emission reduction credits. The team focuses carbon investments on the following sectors: coal mine methane; industrial energy efficiency (iron & steel, cement); destruction of industrial gases; renewable energy (wind, hydro, landfill gas); leaky gas pipes, forestry and agricultural waste.
