Aaron Callen

Aaron Callen is Director, Senior Counsel with the Carbon Finance Team, joining in July 2007.

Aaron trained with Herbert Smith and qualified in 1995 into a Corporate/Projects group, advising on a range of corporate activities and PFI infrastructure projects.

In 1998 he joined Cargill PLC on secondment where he remained for six years, advising on share and asset acquisitions/sales, joint ventures and a range of commercial issues and physical and financial trading issues.

Increasingly involved in pure traded markets, he became Cargill Investor Services' European counsel in August 2004 before joining ABN AMRO as Senior Counsel for insourcing/ outsourcing in October 2005 where he remained until June 2007.
